Hi Chance,
All respect for your flick, and I wouldn't even remotely want to offend yourself after all the positive input you put into this board.
BUT, (and there are always buts), I'm not trying to be funny and also the title of this post is website bashing, so I'll give you my honest opinion. It's wank!
People here may have stated that they would like to see this and that, oh, and maybe a bit on this, oh, and maybe a little on that. But, as a regular reader, I was put off reading it the second the screen flashed before my eyes.
I know you mentioned technical jargon aside, but there really is no excuse for just laying it out a lot better than it actually is. It's terrible, and considering I think we had a slight conversation regarding VB a couple of months back, I would have presumed a developer could have come up wiht something better.
Again, please don't take this the wrong way, as I admire your work on your features and projects, but as far as a web presence is concerned, I think you need to rethink a little, cos it's cack!
Tim

.............and without trying to defend myself too much. I am a little pissed so the above may either make no sense or be a little blunt.
Apologies in advance
But, I wouldn't wnant to rewrite something that was from the heart.

I didn't bother to read all of your long first post, or your short second one, Tim. But, (there's always a but) you must realize that everything spoken on this forum must be sugar-coated and so sticky sweet its annoying. Please in the future be a little more considerate of the unspoken rulesof this forum and speak the exact opposite of whats on your mind.
Thank You.

The final bash. Just thought I might as well add my two cedis about your website. For a start if you are still looking for new sections try a ?tips page? like them cheesy columns in women?s magazines- but with tips about filmmaking- such as things to do with gaffer tape, how to make a Dutch tilt work, things like that. Another page could be a guide to blagging (but don?t give away all your secrets) and also a guide to basic special effects.
Look wise- change the font and change the colour. My favourite font at the moment is Verdana ref- it is also a font that most people would have without downloading. For colours I would get away from the primary colours you are using and get something slightly more neutral- without going too dull. There is a nice shade of turquoise that is used quite often at the moment. My designer and me went to this art shop and played around with their pastel crayons until we got a colour scheme we both liked. She then worked it into the website. You can have a look at the site so far at www.octopus.ipfox.com ignore the content as there is a lot I want to change about it, no email addresses, no guest books and no pictures, and the link to Rachel?s site doesn?t work. Also you can?t view the main part of the site on a Mac. But the colour scheme and design is nice. I?ll let you know properly about it when we actually get the proper version online.
BTW chance may be coming down to London on the 12th for 2 weeks, or maybe even permanent if things go well. So if you need an extra half brain in that time?.

Sorry T. I actually normally say beach instead of bitch- to remind myself of two much time in the sun last winter. So it is more a term I give to friends than foes. Having said that you did say I only have quatre of a brain. I don't know what sex you are (okay I do now) so anyway you are a bitch.
Have you made up with your friend yet?
